Pics of my neice and nephew

We're excited! Elam turns 1 tomorrow, technically it would be today I guess. And that's pretty much all we have going on right now. I have been taking more pictures. I took some of my brothers son and daughter and am still in the process of finishing them up. This is my favorite so far. I love taking pictures when they are just a few weeks/months old. One thing I regret not doing with my kids. So, thats why I have to make up for it, and not let other people, especially ones I love, make the same mistake. Any way, here are a few more of the pictures I took, maybe more to come.

Pics of my neices and nephew

I'm starting today. I've said that before, but this time I'm talking about taking more pictures.(also writing on here AND writing in a journal) I have always loved taking pictures, but recently copying my creative younger twin (little sister who looks identical to me), I began using a few photo enhancing websites. I love it. It really does a number on your pictures, and soon enough you look like your a little photographer! Not really, but close enough. For a little fathers day gift for my brother-n-law, I decided to take some pics of my neices and nephews and send him a book over seas where he is deployed. Just to show a little appreciation for what he does and sacrifices everyday. So,I hope their mom doesn't get mad, but I wanted to post a few of my favorite pictures.

Sunday after church

So I don't know what it is, but I always tell Willbert that I want to take pictures of the boys after church, but it usually never happens. (After 3 hours of church, not a lot of anything usually happens) Anyways, I remembered this time and rushed the boys outside really fast to take a few pics. As you can tell from the shots, they didn't come out as I would have wanted them. It was too bright outside for Elam, AKA the scrunchie nose, and of course it was a little warm! I guess I will have to give it a try another day. We always have another Sunday!

Phoenix Zoo

So, I told myself to be really good at this, that this would be my journal(for you Janeil), I would try to write as much as I could, as often as I could, atleast more than once a week. But as you can tell, I havn't posted anything for a while. So now its time to play catch up. We went to the zoo last week, we are trying to fit in as many trips as we can before it gets too hot. We do our usual walk, first the front with the giraffes and vultures etc.., and then we hit the tiger and the lions (which are always asleep), the rhinos, baboons, a few other smaller animals we can never see because they are asleep in the bushes and then we gradually make our way to the water area.. By this time Aiden is usually hot and really sweaty, he's got his daddys genes, and ready to run rampid in the water and go down the slide. Here are a few pics of him cooling off, Elam enjoyed it a little bit too!

Aidens 1st Big Boo Boo!

Yesterday we made our weekly trip to The Phoenix Childrens Musuem. Usually its just the boys and I, but this time Melissa, Brylie, and baby Easton joined us for the afternoon. We were on the third and final level in the Museum, in the 3 and under room, when Aiden decided to play spiderman and attempt to swing himself onto the couch. Well lets just say he was a little short and got his first fat lip. He cried for a little while, only bled a tiny bit, and looks a lot better than pictured here. Surprisingly, this is only his first fat lip. He is a very active little boy, especially when it comes to playing with his daddy, he had managed to bruise and scratch every other part of his face in the past, but this was the first lip. He is doing fine this morning and the swelling has gone down. It is very cute though, when people ask him what happened, he puts his best pouty sad face on, and then proceeds to tell them what he did.
